Snapshot of WV’s System for Youth with Mental Health-Related Needs

  Youth who were in a residential mental health treatment facility on May 1, 2022, compared to 843 youth on May 1, 2021.

 Youth and their families who received assistance from Help4WV OR a mobile response service provider October-December 2021. The Children’s Crisis and Referral Line helps connect families with resources, crisis stabilization, and mobile response.

 Youth who utilized CSED Waiver services in December 2021. Connection to Wraparound in home services through the Waiver or other community-based mental health service prevents the need for youth to leave their communities unnecessarily.
